Well the cat is out of the bag now.Here she is, the stunning new BMC SLR01 Team Machine. For those that thought the Pro Machine was the pinnacle of BMC's carbon excellence they have raised the bar again.
At a claimed weight of 860 grams for a 55 cm frame there will be many sub 6 kg bike options available.
The new flagship now has its own fork and seatpost incorporating 'TCC' or tuned compliance concept. The fork is an all new BMC specific product that has a tapered steerer and weighs in at 315 gms.
Delivery is expected in Feb. 2010 and numbers will be extremely limited. We are taking pre-orders now and offer very attractive prices on component packages for those who chose to place an early order. Complete bikes fitted with Sram Red and easton EA90SLX wheels will be $8995 with pre orders closing in a few weeks.
